Is your approach limited by tides?

The marina offers you one of the very few ‘all tides’ accesses on the West Coast of Scotland.

What is the largest mooring you have?

We have 63 fully serviced floating pontoon berths taking vessels up to 25 metres length. Our 30 moorings include 26 x 20ton and 4 x 50ton.

Do you have repair facilities?

At Oban Marina we have a wide range of both in-house & sub-contracted services including:
  • Painting & varnishing
  • engineering
  • fibreglass
  • mechanical
  • rigging
  • sail repair
  • electrics
  • electronics
  • Our hoist will lift vessels up to 50 tons and with a length up to 19m/beam up to 6.2m.
Can I dry store my boat at Oban Marina over winter?
You have two main systems available for boat storage. Brownell boat stands or Yacht Leg & Cradle boat cradles. See our Winter Storage page for details.

What onshore facilities do you have for crews?
  • The Waypoint Bar & Grill, open and fully licensed throughout the summer, serving delicious local delicacies
  • Dock trolleys are available from the marina office
  • 4 modern, well appointed shower rooms are available to marina guests
  • Laundry facilities including coin-operated washing machines and dryers
  • Broadband internet access, fax and mailing address
  • Complimentary shuttle service to and from Oban.

What hauling facilities does Oban Marina have?
We have a 50T “Wise” boat hoist with adjustable beam from 4.7 to 6.2 metres and capable of
lifting up to 50 tons running on a fully re-furbished slipway and hard-standing.

Do you have transport from the marina to Oban and the mainland?
We run a regular complimentary shuttle service to and from the marina and the town of Oban.

What activities are there to do locally?

Does Oban Marina take part in any special events during the season?
